The South Korean PSK Award Programme (SKPA) consists of 7 different award series – WASKPA (Worked All South Korea PSK Award), SKSPA (South Korean Special PSK Award), PSKPA (Provinces of South Korea PSK Award), SCSKPA (Special Cities of South Korea PSK Award), CSKPA (Cities of South Korea PSK Award), SKCPA (South Korean Counties PSK Award), and DSKPA (Districts of South Korea PSK Award). The award programme is based on the administrative geography of South Korea and dedicated to the 10^th Anniversary of the European PSK Club. It has been sponsored by Radioarena UK Ltd and devised by the European PSK Club on 12^th June, 2016 for two-way PSK contacts with amateur radio stations operating from various administrative units (territories) of various levels of South Korea.

Please make sure that the «COMMENT» field in your ADIF log contains the contacted station's SKPA designator, in format of #AREA AA.BB.CC.DD as per the list below (for example – if you made a QSO with a station working from Ilsanseo-gu Goyang-si in Gyeonggi, your ADIF comment field should be #AREA KR.GY.GY.IS). This is a mandatory requirement to make able the manager's software to check your application correctly. When working with the South Korean stations ask them for their si (city), gun (county) or gu (district) name to correctly identify their location for the South Korean PSK Award Programme (SKPA).

WASKPA
Worked All South Korea PSK Award

WASKPA III, WASKPA II, and WASKPA I awards may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted 8, 12, and all 17 current (different) major administrative divisions of South Korea (eight provinces, one special autonomous province, six metropolitan cities, one metropolitan autonomous city and one special city) listed below respectively at the time of application.

The South Korean Special PSK Award (SKSPA) may be claimed by any WASKPA I holder who can produce evidence of having contacted one of the South Korean Antarctic Stations listed below.

Provinces of South Korea PSK Award

Provinces of South Korea PSK Award (PSKPA) can be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted all nine provinces of South Korea listed below.

SCSKPA
Special Cities of South Korea PSK Award

Special cities are one of the first-level administrative divisions within South Korea. There are 8 first-level cities in South Korea: Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Incheon, Sejong, Seoul and Ulsan. Special Cities of South Korea PSK Award (SCSKPA) can be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted all the eight special cities of South Korea listed below.

Cities of South Korea PSK Award

The largest cities of South Korea have an autonomous status equivalent to that of provinces: Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, Incheon, Sejong, Seoul and Ulsan. Smaller cities are classified as si (cities) and are under provincial jurisdiction, at the same level as counties. The Cities of South Korea PSK Award (CSKPA) is based on PSK contacts made with any type of South Korean cities listed below. The original list of all the cities of South Korea is listed here. CSKPA 10, CSKPA 20, CSKPA 30, CSKPA 40, CSKPA 50, CSKPA 60, CSKPA 70, and CSKPA 80 awards may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 current (different) cities of South Korea respectively at the time of application.

South Korean Counties PSK Award

A county (gun) is one of the divisions of a province along with a city (si) and a district (gu). The South Korean Counties PSK Award (SKCPA) is based on PSK contacts made with counties (gun) of South Korea listed below. The original list of all the counties (gun) of South Korea is listed here. SKCPA 10, SKCPA 20, SKCPA 30, SKCPA 40, SKCPA 50, SKCPA 60, SKCPA 70, and SKCPA 80 awards may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80 current (different) counties of South Korea respectively at the time of application.

DSKPA
Districts of South Korea PSK Award

Most South Korean cities are divided into districts (gu). They are similar to boroughs in some Western countries. The Districts of South Korea PSK Award (DSKPA) is based on PSK contacts made with districts (gu) of South Korea listed below. The original list of all the districts (gu) of South Korea is listed here. DSKPA 10, DSKPA 20, DSKPA 30, DSKPA 40, DSKPA 50, DSKPA 60, DSKPA 70, DSKPA 80, DSKPA 90, and DSKPA 100 awards may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, and 100 current (different) districts (gu) of South Korea respectively at the time of application.
